The Equazone Air Cushion is a self-inflating air cushion designed to provide instant, reliable, very high-level pressure relief — the highest level of redistribution in our range. Which size do I need?

The 432 mm (17") square size suits most standard wheelchairs and armchairs; the wider 533 mm x 483 mm (21" x 19") size suits larger chairs and bariatric seating. Measure the width and depth of your seat and choose the closest match.

Getting the inflation right

An air cushion protects best at the correct inflation for your weight — over-inflated it sits you on top rather than in it, under-inflated it bottoms out. When seated, you should be able to slide a flat hand between your lowest point and the chair. If a district nurse or occupational therapist is involved in your care, ask them to check the setup.
