Lift and move your leg with ease.

A leg lifter helps you move a stiff, heavy or weak leg in and out of bed, a chair, the car or the bath — using your arms instead of straining your back, and without needing someone to help. A sturdy loop slips around your foot so you can lift and reposition your leg using a rigid or semi-rigid strap. They are ideal if you are recovering from hip or knee replacement, living with leg weakness, or caring for someone after a stroke. From £6.99, with VAT relief available and free UK delivery on orders over £15.

How to use a leg lifter

Sit on the edge of the bed or in your chair. Place the foot loop around your foot or ankle, hold the handle with both hands, and use your arms to lift and guide your leg where you need it — onto the bed, into the car, or over the side of the bath. Lower it gently rather than letting it drop.
