A compression stocking aid takes the struggle out of putting on tight compression socks, TED stockings and compression hosiery — without bending, straining or asking for help. The frame or aid holds the stocking open so you can slide your foot straight in and pull it up, which is far easier than wrestling tight hosiery on by hand. They are ideal if you have limited mobility, lymphoedema or a circulatory condition, are pregnant, or are recovering from surgery. From £9.99, with VAT relief available and free UK delivery on orders over £15.
How to use a compression stocking aid
Slide the compression stocking over the frame so the opening is held wide. Lower the frame to the floor by its handles or cords, place your foot into the opening, and pull up steadily — the stocking rolls onto your leg as the frame slides out. Smooth out any wrinkles once it is on.
