Cricket Transfer & Transport Aid

The Cricket is no bigger than a standard wheelchair, allowing it to turn in its own space and navigate through doorways and gaps as narrow as 320 mm. Its compact size makes it ideal for use in bedrooms, bathrooms, and cloakrooms, where space is often limited.

Unlike passive transfer aids, the Cricket encourages users to take an active role in standing and sitting. Suitable for those who can hold an upright or semi-upright position for around 10 seconds, it promotes continued mobility, strength, and rehabilitation as part of daily routines.

Featuring an articulating knee pad, integral backrest, and new foot guard, the Cricket provides comfort and extra support during transfers. High-grip “footprints” give users visual guidance and added security, reducing the risk of slips and encouraging confidence.

The Cricket allows smooth seated transfers from bed to toilet or chair with the assistance of just one carer. Its design ensures dignity and independence, removing the need for bedroom commodes by fitting neatly over existing toilets.

With a robust frame supporting up to 22 stone (130 kg) and adjustable for users from 4ft 11" to 6ft 3", the Cricket is designed for reliability and flexibility. Braked rear castors ensure stability, while regular checks keep it ready for safe daily use.
